Job Profile
- Planning and designing of Mechanical and Electrical systems (Elevators and Escalators) for all ASUTP projects. Development of Specifications, Designs Drawings, Plans sections and detailing in terms of facilities to be provided.
- Also having strong technical leadership analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills to join our project management and Aizawl Sustainable Urban Transport project team.
Main responsibilities include:
- Development of Design Basis for installation of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment at the identified projects.
- Development of specifications, discussions with the vendors and Stakeholders(P&E), Power demand estimations.
- Identification of Power Sources, Backup facility, design of Sub stations
- Prepare and finalize Mechanical and electrical Equipment (Elevators and Escalators) for the Projects:
- Skywalk
- Vertical mobility
- Bus and maxi cab terminals (3 nos.)
- Truck terminals (3 nos.)
- City bus depots (6 nos.)
- Corridor and Junction improvement – Staircases/ escalators etc.
- Coordination with the inter disciplinary teams for the client delivery as per the ToR.
- Development of BoQ and Costing in coordination with the Quantity Surveyor.
- All the mechanical and electrical equipment should be prepared using an integrated approach that adopts smart growth principles, keeping in mind the future needs, potential impacts of such proposed investments in physical development terms on the surrounding land-use(s) of sub-projects/ project sites, viable new technologies for enhancing efficiency of service delivery and effective coverage; and adopting low-impact development/ green infrastructure principles, as feasible.
Minimum qualification
- Relevant master’s degree
- Experience: preferably 12 Years from master’s degree.
- Industry: Planning and design of vertical mobility (Elevators and Escalators) systems, associated in planning and designing of Townships, smart cities, multilateral funded projects,
- Experience in Master planning and infrastructure planning and Designing at Hill Regions
- Functional Area: Planning and Designing of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment connected to vertical mobility and transportation systems in Hill Areas
