As a member of Digital team, you will play an active role in delivering digital solutions for the business. The role is an essential part of the business’ strategy to encourage and facilitate the transformation of engineering solutions, helping to develop and build a variety of digital solutions including software applications, data pipelines, and dashboards. Our Team will support your career and skills development and provide strategic direction to align company goals with personal ones. 
The position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, covering the entire spectrum of an end-to-end project. You can expect to engage in a variety of tasks and duties, including business analysis, data platform, and data engineering tasks. The best part is that you'll work in technical environments across various teams and will always have the opportunity to improve each other's skills through knowledge sharing and aim for best results of our clients.   

A day in the life of a Data solution engineer might look like: 

Designing and deploying data solutions ranging from proof-of-concepts and minimal viable products to finished products and solutions.   You would also be responsible for creating data pipelines, managing data storage, and ensuring data quality and accessibility for analysis and decision-making. 

We work with a range of different stakeholders both internally and externally, and you will collaborate to define requirements and implement data solutions that meet the needs of the organisation, supporting data-driven decisions. 
Understanding Data insights from a variety of sources to benefit project stakeholders and satisfy data insights requirements. 

About you.
You could be a professional with bachelor's degree in data science, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications in data related fields would be highly valued.  Your experience with writing software applications, preferably in python or Javascript, with interacting components will help you in with designing applications or code solutions, including understanding and defining technical requirements with clients. 

You may also have:

• Exposure to working with large datasets, GIS systems, APIs.  

• Experience with creating dashboards using platforms such as Power BI. 

• Effective collaboration skills to facilitate teamwork and deliver outcomes across data warehousing, relational databases, ETL technologies, big data tools, cloud computing technologies, data modelling, data governance, data security, data quality and machine learning technologies and applications
