What do you enjoy about working here?

I work with some excellent colleagues from around the world. The culture of collaboration in Mott MacDonald, alongside the variety of projects we are involved in, make everyday brain stretching, interesting and enjoyable.

Tell us about your specialism and why you chose it

I specialise in the management of health, safety, and environmental considerations in construction design. I have an inherent passion for maximising the elimination of hazards through design and aim to make a difference to the management process globally.

How do you contribute to Mott MacDonald making a difference to people and planet? 

I contribute by driving our global excellence in the health and safety of our designs from concept through to construction and maintenance. I provide direction and creativity in our digital systems offering, to support Mott MacDonald in world leading innovation.

How has your career progressed since joining? / How has Mott MacDonald invested in your career?  

Mott MacDonald has enabled me to progress my career through enhancing my knowledge of digital innovation and trusting in my ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on major projects, help develop business services and build on our platinum client relationships. I have progressed from starting 18 months ago as a principal designer advisor in the Transport and Mobility Solutions Division to working globally across the Group in my specialist area of digital design safety management.

How do you demonstrate Technical Excellence in your work? 

Through the creation of a new digital hazard management system and process, facilitated by the Moata Safe by Design software product. The platform will eventually replace the existing project forms and it will increase efficiency and enhance our designers’ ability to eliminate and reduce risks passed onto construction and maintenance teams.

2024 Finalist in the Health and Safety category for the European Women in Construction and Engineering Awards.
