What do you enjoy about working here?

What I enjoy the most is the networking and travelling to other MM offices, understanding the different projects and extract efficient ways of workings from other teams to apply in mine. Regarding my role, I still do like the research and publishing technical papers for internation conferences, as for example this year, I have presented in the international conference of earthquake engineering in Milan 2024.

Tell us about your specialism and why you chose it

My specialism is earthquake engineering and I believe my contribution to society is to provide a better way to build efficient structures against earthquakes. 

What are your career highlights and achievements?

In 2015, I won the first place for the category women in nuclear Europe, for the FEM energia awards, by EDF France and this year 2024 I won the first place for the category structural engineer for the WICE awards, European women in construction and engineering awards.

Are you involved in any additional initiatives at Mott MacDonald, aside from your day-to-day role?

I am a technical specialist in earthquake engineering, advancing gender network lead for UK and an LM of the nuclear structural team in the UK south offices.
