Biography
John currently leads the sustainability and ESG consulting team within Mott MacDonald’s strategic advisory portfolio. His team of consultants assists the C-suite and extended leadership teams of infrastructure and energy investors/owners, operators, as well as national and local government bodies, in driving transformational change across their climate change and sustainability agendas. His focus areas include physical and transition climate risk and strategy, decarbonisation and transition planning, impact measurement, and supporting ESG reporting and disclosures.
Prior to this, he spent over seven years in various consulting roles in capital projects. During these roles, he gained experience in strategy consulting, transaction structuring and mergers and acquisitions, commercial due diligence, digital transformation, product management and delivery, as well as sustainability advisory. His sector experience spans energy, water, transportation (highways, railways, and aviation), higher education, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.
