Biography
Aled Griffiths is the unit general manager for the Canada unit in North America. He has been instrumental in the growth of Mott MacDonald in Canada, as divisional general manager since 2016 and subsequently as unit general manager since 2023. Aled has also held pivotal leadership roles on some of Mott MacDonald’s largest projects in Canada, including the Port Mann Highway 1 project, a major design-build project, and the Broadway Subway project in Vancouver.
An accomplished civil engineer with over 25 years of experience, Aled joined Mott MacDonald in 2000. His experience spans a wide range of projects across the UK and Canada, from leading multidisciplinary design teams on long-term public-private programs to fast-track billion-dollar design-build projects in the highway and transit markets. Aled has successfully guided projects through all stages of development, effectively leading tender teams and delivering projects from feasibility studies to detailed design.
