What do you enjoy about working here?

I love the supportive and encouraging environment at Mott MacDonald. The people here truly make a difference. My current role allows me to handle a variety of responsibilities and exposes me to new concepts in my field, which keeps my work exciting and fulfilling. Additionally, I appreciate the opportunities to connect with industry leaders and decision-makers. 

Tell us about your specialism and why you chose it

I did my Masters in Transport Planning; I feel Transport planning offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of our cities, ensuring they are not just efficient, but also equitable and environmentally sustainable. For me, it’s about creating connections—between people, places, and possibilities.

How do you contribute to Mott MacDonald making a difference to people and planet?

As a transport planner, I have been involved in numerous projects and initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability, reducing carbon emissions, and enhancing accessibility to improve the quality of life for communities. 

Why did you choose Mott MacDonald as a company you wanted to be part of?

While I was still studying, I became aware of Mott MacDonald and the impressive projects they were undertaking in my field. This piqued my interest, as I was eager to gain diverse experiences and work on impactful projects.  

How has your career progressed since joining? / How has Mott MacDonald invested in your career?

Mott MacDonald has provided me with the opportunity to work on various prestigious projects, instilling in me the skills and confidence to undertake challenging roles and successfully complete projects. 

Where in the world has your role taken you?

I have been fortunate to gain experience working across various regions in India. I got to know southern India and North-East India well through various projects apart from my base in North India. 

What are your career highlights and achievements?

One of my career highlights has been working on the ‘Sustainable Urban Transport Project.’ This project has been incredibly challenging and demanding, often pushing me into uncharted waters. However, it has also been immensely enriching and a fantastic learning experience.

Are you involved in any additional initiatives at Mott MacDonald, aside from your day-to-day role?

I am a member of employee engagement team of Delhi-Noida office.
